The graduation of our sixth classes in June each year is always a special occasion. While there is a great sense of joy and optimism regarding the future, this is always tinged with a little sadness too, as the girls leave their primary school days behind.
SIXTH CLASS GRADUATION 2021
On Wednesday our 6th class girls along with their parents, Ms. Whelan, Marion and myself went to the Graduation Mass in the Parish Church, the rest of the classes joined in via the parish webcam. Afterwards the girls were presented with their graduation certificates and a training top (Seamie Holland). Sincere thanks to our Parents’ Council for funding these training tops. The girls enjoyed their graduation party back in the school organised by Ms. Whelan. Thank you to Joan in Glanmore Foods and to the staff of the school for supplying the girls with some tasty treats. The girls have been a pleasure to teach over the last eight years and have shown extraordinary resilience and strength of character throughout this school year. Ms. Whelan, myself and all the staff of Scoil Bhríde wish each one of them every success in their future and hope that they have many happy days ahead.
