We had a great day at the Primary Science Fair in the RDS on January 9th. The 5th and 6th project 'How does an egg turn into a chick?' was very well received, and the stand was busy all day with people coming to look at our work and ask questions. The girls learned a lot from going around to the other stands and from participating in all the activities on the day. As always their behaviour was exemplary and the teachers were very proud of them.
"A wonderfully enjoyable project to hear about. The students learned and spoke very enthusiastically about every aspect of incubating chicken eggs. The box to shine the light into was a very clever idea and it was fantastic to discover that the chicks were possibly happier in the dark with a towel covering the incubator................. It was a joy to listen to the students share their enthusiasm for learning all about chickens and eggs!" - written feedback from the RDS Primary Science Fair Judge.
